Terms and Conditions
For Hotel Rooms and Muncho Lake Cabins:
Room Reservation Policy – To confirm a reservation, a 20% non-refundable prepayment is required. A reservation can be amended or cancelled a single time free of charge (except the 20% prepayment), when booked directly with the Northern Rockies lodge and not OTA's up and until 3pm on the day before arrival. Each additional amendment to your reservation results in a 20% non-refundable change fee.
Call-in Reservation Policy – Phone reservations can be made within 48 hours of arrival and are paid in full at the time of booking. These reservations are non-refundable, non-cancelable and non-amendable.
Changes & Cancellations - Any changes or cancellations to any reservation must be done in writing including your reservation number and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. (to make it easier for you, use the 'cancellations' link on the bottom of your Confirmation e-mail)
Pet Policy – Pets $20 per night, per pet, payable at check-in. Pets and are permitted in pet-friendly designated rooms only. Pets must be on a leash, cleaned up after and be accompanied at all times while on the Northern Rockies Lodge property. A pet which disturbs the peace and causes a disturbance to other guests must be removed from the property and with no refunds.
Guide/Service dogs - Guide dogs and Service Dogs are accepted free of charge, provided the customer shows a valid BC Guide dog registration card and advises the Northern Rockies Lodge at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
No-shows – Reservations which have not been cancelled by 3pm the day before arrival will be charged the full amount.
Check-in – From 3PM until 10PM. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates on Pacific Daylight Time from March through November and Pacific Standard time from November through March.
Check-out – 11am local checkout time.
Early Check-out – Once the check-in process has been completed, your room for the night is non-refundable. The standard Northern Rockies Lodge “reservation policy” applies to amendments, cancellations and refunds on multi-night stays. If you booked a multi-night stay at the Northern Rockies Lodge and plan to change your reservation after arrival, notify the front desk by 3pm the day before departure.
Child Policy – Children 12 and under stay free of charge provided that the number of children does not exceed the number of adults in the room.
Discount for Active Military - Canadian and U.S. Military Members benefit from a $20 Room discount only for bookings made on www.northernrockieslodge.com. The discount is calculated at check-in upon presentation of a valid Military ID.
Visitor Policy – Guests are allowed to welcome their visitors into their rooms until 9PM and up to the maximum occupancy number for the room. Afterward, plus $20 per person, per night applies.
Extra Cleaning Policy – Northern Rockies Lodge reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee after check-out if extensive cleaning is required. The fee for deep cleaning a room where smoking has occurred or where a pet was staying without our permission is $500.
Missing Item Policy – Damaged or missing items will be billed at invoiced replacement value plus a service charge.
Weather Policy – We are located in the mountains and rapid weather changes can occur.
- Cabins: By booking any of our cabins, you accept that due to possible freezing weather, we may have to move your booking to a lodge room. Any price difference will be reimbursed at check-in.
- RV Sites: By booking any of our RV sites, you accept that due to possible freezing weather, water hookups may become unavailable.
For Tours, Flights and Outpost Cabins
-Flight costs are based on an average group weight of 91 kg/ 200 pounds per person
-Package prices are per person, but based on 2 persons per booking
In order to confirm a reservation, Northern Rockies Lodge Ltd. must receive your deposit at the time of your booking. Please allow 48 hours processing time, for our tour operations to confirm your reservation (dates available on a first come first serve basis). The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Tour packages require a deposit on flights, accommodation and meals; 20% for our 3 night packages out of Muncho lake, a 50% deposit is required for trips longer than 3 nights or with flight transfers (from Vancouver etc).
- Balance to be paid 30 days prior to arrival (non-refundable).
Tour and Flight Refund Policy
Money paid is non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
- 30 days and more - deposit is forfeited.
- 29 days and less - total cost is forfeited.
Form of Payment
Mastercard, Visa or wire transfer.
To Hold a Booking
In order to confirm a reservation, Liard Tours must receive your deposit at the time of your booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
30 days and more - deposit is forfeited; 29 days and less - total cost is forfeited.
To ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of our guests we may be required to make suitable program changes as a result of unfavorable weather conditions. Moneys paid are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
By booking any stays, activities and flights with Northern Rockies Lodge Ltd., Liard Tours Ltd., and Liard Air Ltd. you agree that the combined liability is limited to $300,000.00 per person.
Liard Air/Northern Rockies Lodge cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of airline schedule changes.
Once deposit is received the price is guaranteed.
Guests are fully responsible for any damage to property and equipment.
Wilderness trips involve inherent risks and each individual is required to sign a waiver.
