Netson Lake Cabin is situated in the Muskwa Kechika region, nestled in the northern boreal forest. 45 air miles south west of Muncho Lake, this air access only lake is surrounded by beautiful mountain views. You will find everything you need for the duration of your wilderness mountain cabin adventure in and around the cabin.
Fishing: the common fish species found in Netson Lake are arctic grayling, lake trout, bull trout and burbot. This lake has a huge fish population. At the cabin a small stream enters the lake creating excellent fishing right at your doorstep, or head out in the boat and troll for the big one!
Wildlife: The Netson Lake area is abundunt with wildlife and you are very likely to encounter moose in the shallow bays. We often see a half dozen or more at one time. Moose wander along the edge of the lake right by the cabin in the twighlight hours of the day. The local osprey hangs out on a regular basis, and lucky guests will even catch a glimps of him fishing. Netson Lake is excellent for bird viewing.
If you hike out of the valley you may encounter stone sheep and mountain goats, as well as caribou on the surrounding mountains.
