Our Northern Rockies Lodge is the largest log building on the Alaska Highway and is a fitting centerpiece for Muncho Lake Provincial Park on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake.

We are the ideal overnight stop for Alaska Highway travelers by car or RV as we are located halfway between Dawson Creek (Mile 0) and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory (Mile 918). You can easily reach us in a day's drive from Grande Prairie, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John or Whitehorse. By spending the night at our lodge you will save one day of travel to/from Alaska as an overnight stay in Watson Lake and Fort Nelson will no longer be necessary.
Accommodation at the lodge is comprised of 45 modern, non-smoking guest rooms. All rooms in the main lodge are equipped with colour TVs, thermostatically controlled heat and contain full washroom facilities. Designated pet rooms available. The restaurant and main lodge are open year-round. The Northern Rockies Lodge also offers an exciting variety of fishing, hiking, glacier flightseeing, canoeing and wildlife viewing.
We travel the Alaska Highway twice a year and always plan our trip so that we can stay at your beautiful Lodge.

While the main lodge is open year-round, the cabins are open between May 15th and August 31st.
