Is your Northern Rockies Lodge easy to find?
The Northern Rockies Lodge is the only full service Hotel/Motel in the Muncho Lake, Toad River, Liard River Hotsprings region. Our Lodge is located at Historic Mile 462 of the Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful jade green Muncho Lake. If you are driving from the south we are approx 5 miles from the south end of Muncho Lake on your left hand side (2 miles from the north end on the right hand side).

How far are you from?: Liard River Hotsprings - is only 40 min (35 miles) away
Fort Nelson - 162 Miles
Watson Lake - 151 Miles
Whitehorse - 456 Miles
Alaska Border (Tok) - 852 Miles
While both Watson Lake and Ft. Nelson still cater to the Alaska Highway travelers, Muncho Lake is a more convenient overnight stop. Spending the night at Muncho Lake allows you to easily save a day on your drive to/from Alaska. Overnight stays in either Watson Lake or Ft. Nelson will no longer be necessary.

Can I stay for just one night?: Certainly, you may stay for one night at the Northern Rockies Lodge.

Do your rooms have heat and power?: Yes, all of our units have power and are equipped with thermostatically controlled heat.

Do your rooms have television?: Yes, all of our rooms have color television.

Do your rooms have private washrooms?: Yes, each of our rooms has full washroom facilities.

Do you have internet access?: Yes, we have a console in our Lobby with a computer which is hooked up to the internet that guests may use for a modest fee.

Do you have a gas station at Muncho Lake?: Yes, we have Regular Unleaded and Diesel available for Alaska Highway travellers. Registered Hotel and RV guests will receive a 10c/L (38c/gal) discount.

Do you have a full service restaurant at Muncho Lake?: Yes, we have a licensed dining room in the main lodge which is open year round. Our Bush Pilots Lounge has an adjacent outdoor patio which is open during the summer.
